Telesales Agent

About the role

The Telesales Agent will drive revenue growth by executing structured outbound calling campaigns, taking omnichannel orders and reactivating lapsed outlets. The role focuses on converting calls into sales while delivering an ethical and positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily outbound call plans aligned with sales campaigns and district priorities.
• Convert calls into sales orders, increasing order value, SKU count and quantities.
• Manage and process omnichannel customer orders accurately.
• Reactivate lapsed outlets and ensure coverage of assigned sales districts.
• Execute promotions and cycle deals according to commercial guidelines.
• Log call outcomes, orders and next actions in the call‑centre system.
• Maintain high data quality for customer order information.
• Escalate service issues to Customer Care when necessary.
• Apply ethical selling practices and protect the customer experience.
• Share customer insights to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales, telesales or customer care.
• Digital savviness with practical use of MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience with outbound calling or sales campaigns is advantageous.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ERP/CRM system usage.
