Working Capital & Trade Solutions Manager

About the role

The Working Capital & Trade Solutions Manager will grow and retain client relationships across assigned segments such as Commercial Banking, Agribusiness, Public Sector, and Africa‑China Banking. The role focuses on delivering trade finance and working capital solutions that enhance client experience and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously source market information and trends to share proactively with clients and internal teams.
• Conduct full reviews of client financial statements and cash‑flow situations to propose tailored solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the existing client base to meet financial targets.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality credit applications, oversee credit reviews, and manage timelines for annual reviews.
• Structure and customise credit loan facilities, communicating parameters and criteria to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce in Management Accounting, Finance or related field; Chartered Accountant or CIMA qualification is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of proven experience in trade finance and working capital solutions.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to perform financial, documentary, and credit analysis.
• Sound understanding of credit risk assessment, client working‑capital cycles, and trade finance structuring.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through business development and sustainable client relationships.
