Multi-skilled Consultant – Retail Banking

About the role

The Multi-skilled Consultant will deliver a unique client experience at Maerua Mall by handling enquiries, teller transactions, and banking requirements while supporting branch objectives and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Authenticate clients and transactions, preventing fraud and losses.
• Provide client service, meet identified needs, and refer cross‑sell opportunities.
• Issue VISA application letters based on client requests.
• Balance and secure branch stock holdings.
• Participate in Nedbank culture initiatives and business strategy.
• Educate clients on self‑service channels to improve efficiency.
• Identify quality sales leads and enable cross‑selling without advising.
• Ensure compliance with risk standards, legislative requirements, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; advanced diplomas or first degree preferred.
• 6‑12 months of client‑facing retail banking or teller experience.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, branch processes, and corporate governance.
• Behavioural competencies such as building customer loyalty, collaboration, and quality orientation.
