Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will support the Audit and Tax Manager in preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, ensuring tax compliance and maintaining corporate governance standards. This detail‑oriented position requires solid accounting knowledge and strong analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Coordinate external audit schedules, respond to auditor queries and track audit findings.
• Assist with corporate income tax, VAT, PAYE and other tax return preparations.
• Maintain compliance calendars for statutory, regulatory and tax deadlines.
• Support internal audit activities, test controls and document findings.
• Update the corporate risk register and report emerging risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial reporting, audit or tax compliance.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and corporate taxation.
