Site Operator - Contract

About the role

Vivo Energy is hiring a Site Operator on a contract basis in Oranjemund. The role covers receiving, storing and distributing fuel efficiently while maintaining HSSE standards and agreed customer service levels, supporting engineering staff with maintenance and managing the customer interface.

Key responsibilities

• Safely load mine vehicles, equipment and bowsers
• Perform tank dipping
• Record and reconcile transactions and meter readings accurately
• Take samples
• Carry out housekeeping and generic preventive maintenance
• Enforce adherence to HSSE and life-saving rules
• Take part in toolbox talks
• Support engineering staff with daily and quarterly maintenance
• Manage customer interface and relationships
• Perform other related duties as required by the Supervisor or Depot Manager

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification or tertiary qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Fluent communication with staff
• Willingness to work odd hours
