Site Operator (Contract)

About the role

The Site Operator is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing fuel efficiently while maintaining HSSE standards and customer service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Safe loading of mine vehicles, equipment and bowsers
• Tank dipping, accurate transaction and meter recording, and reconciling
• Sample taking, housekeeping and generic preventive maintenance activities
• Enforcement of HSSE and Life Saving Rules, participation in toolbox talks
• Support engineering staff with daily and quarterly maintenance and manage customer interface

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification or higher (tertiary qualification preferred)
• Previous experience in a similar depot or stock‑control role is advantageous
• Ability to communicate fluently with staff and willingness to work odd hours
