Site Supervisor – Fuel & Lubricant Operations

About the role

The Site Supervisor will manage all fuel and lubricant staff at the Namdeb VMI, overseeing handling operations and ensuring continuous supply to customers. The role also supports the depot manager and acts as the main liaison between Vivo Energy, Namdeb and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to maintain excellent service and smooth relationships.
• Supervise operators, manage fuel stock, and ensure product quality control.
• Oversee safe operation of pipeline receipt, fueling of mine equipment and bowsers, and equipment management.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repair of fuel systems and site HSSE supervision.
• Handle IR and HR issues, conflict management, motivation, team building and performance management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years experience in a fuel depot and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Understanding of HSSEQ requirements and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP S4Hanna.
• Computer literacy.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to fuel handling.
