Site Engineer / Junior Site Agent

About the role

The company is looking for a Site Engineer / Junior Site Agent to support civil, concrete and earthworks projects across the Erongo Region. You will act as the primary link between on‑site teams and senior management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities, including concrete and earthworks.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials to keep the programme on track.
• Assist with short‑term planning, progress tracking and reporting to senior management.
• Monitor quality control, ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications and approved methods.
• Support implementation and maintenance of site safety requirements.
• Assist with cost control, measurement of completed works and preparation of payment certificates.
• Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, progress updates and relevant correspondence.
• Identify site issues, risks and delays early and escalate appropriately.
• Travel across project sites within the Erongo Region as required.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• At least three years of site‑based experience in civil construction.
• Practical exposure to concrete works and earthworks.
• Mining construction or mining‑environment experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle is a plus.
• Namibian citizenship, clean criminal record and good health (medical assessment required).
• Sober habits and willingness to travel within the Erongo Region.
