About the role

The University of Namibia is recruiting a full-time Senior Lecturer in Inclusive Education on its main campus. The position covers teaching, postgraduate supervision, research and service to the university and surrounding communities.

Key responsibilities

Teach modules in Inclusive Education, School Counselling and Advanced Educational Research
Supervise postgraduate students
Conduct research and publish research articles in reputable journals
Provide service to the wider UNAM community and surrounding communities

Required profile

PhD in Education (Inclusive Education) or Ed.D. in Inclusive Education
At least three years of lecturing experience at Senior Lecturer level
Extensive publications in reputable or Scopus-indexed journals on Inclusive Education
Track record of postgraduate student supervision and community engagement
Record of research grants awarded, digital literacy and ICT in teaching and learning

Required skills

Use of SPSS or another statistical analysis package is an added advantage
