Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer (Educational Psychology)

About the role

The University of Namibia is recruiting an Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology for its Rundu campus. The position is full time and academic, with a closing date of 13 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Supervise students
• Engage in research and publications
• Provide service to the academic and wider community
• Perform any other duties as may be required
• Develop curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and prepare course materials for part-time students

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Educational Psychology and experience in teaching and research
• Three years of service as Senior Lecturer
• Satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication and community engagement commensurate with the rank
• Cumulative record of 17 publications, of which 7 must have been published since becoming Senior Lecturer
• At least 6 of those publications must be scholarly works
