About the role

The University of Namibia is recruiting a full-time Lecturer in Financial Mathematics / Quantitative Finance on its main campus. The position is academic and focuses on teaching, research and departmental service.

Key responsibilities

Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students
Conduct research in the area of specialization and the broader areas of the Department
Participate in departmental, school, faculty and wider university committees
Take part in consultancies and perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department

Required profile

A minimum of a master's degree in Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or Quantitative Risk Management from a reputable university
At least 2 years of working experience as a lecturer at an institution of higher learning
