Procurement / Supply Chain Assistant

About the role

Toradex, a global embedded computing and IoT company, is looking for a Procurement / Supply Chain Assistant to strengthen its global Supply Chain organization. The role takes ownership of operational tasks across procurement, planning and logistics, creating, tracking and following up on purchase orders based on inputs from Strategic and Tactical Procurement, and covering product receipt and invoicing. It is presented as an entry-level position to build a career in procurement, planning or logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Create, release and maintain purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods, and execute standard planning topics for selected items
• Monitor open POs and delivery schedules, follow up with suppliers and update the ERP system; escalate deviations to Procurement
• Maintain ERP master data (vendors, materials, prices, lead times, MOQs) and handle consignment invoicing
• Check supplier invoices against POs and goods receipts, clarify discrepancies and support Accounting with credit/debit notes
• Support warehouse and inventory management: cycle counts, stock transfers, order returns and issues with the 3PL warehouse
• Support inbound and outbound logistics, including tracking shipments, shipping documents and tracking data, and prepare customs and trade compliance documentation
• Keep data quality high in the ERP, create SOPs and propose process improvements

Required profile

• Commercial or technical degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or a comparable operations/assistant role, preferably international
• Fluent English; German is a big plus

Required skills

• Practical ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, for purchasing, inventory and logistics
• Creating and managing orders in ERP
• Strong Excel; data analysis or reporting tools such as Power BI are a plus
• Understanding of POs, lead times, safety stock, stock transfers and inbound/outbound flows
• Attention to detail, structured and proactive approach, strong communication skills
