About the role
The University of Namibia is recruiting a full-time driver for its main campus. The driver operates light and heavy-duty vehicles to transport staff, students and visitors locally and internationally, in line with university policies and traffic regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate light and heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting passengers and goods locally and internationally.
- Ensure timely and safe transport of passengers and goods in accordance with university policies and traffic regulations.
- Complete trip statements, logbooks and all other transport documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required profile
- A Grade 12 certificate plus at least two years of driving experience.
- A valid code CE driving licence and a Public Driver's Permit (PDP).
- Good physical condition to lift luggage or other goods.
- Good verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
