Private Banker – Foreign National Portfolio

About the role

FNB is seeking a Private Banker to manage a specialised portfolio of foreign‑national high‑net‑worth clients. You will proactively optimise client portfolios, address their financial needs and drive profitability while ensuring strong client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire profitable foreign‑national customers and provide tailored banking solutions.
• Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets through cross‑selling of banking products.
• Deliver optimal service levels and continuously improve service delivery processes.
• Maintain strict compliance with legislative, audit and risk requirements.
• Develop and implement end‑to‑end processes for ongoing improvement.
• Navigate residency‑related account requirements and other nuances of foreign‑national client servicing.
• Travel flexibly and manage a dynamic schedule to meet client demands.

Required profile

• Relevant Business, Commerce or Banking qualification.
• 5‑7 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, lending, credit, fiduciary services, investments, compliance and risk management.
• Proven commercial acumen with a track record of acquiring, growing and retaining profitable client relationships.
• Excellent relationship‑building, networking and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, independent and able to manage affluent client portfolios.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport and willingness to travel.
