Management Accountant – Tourism Board

About the role

The Namibia Tourism Board seeks a Management Accountant to provide financial insight, planning and performance analysis that supports regulatory sustainability and strategic development. The role oversees budgeting, accounts‑receivable, cash‑flow management and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts for tourism programmes.
• Lead the accounts‑receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, collection and reconciliation of all revenue streams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, variance reports and financial statements for regulatory operations.
• Analyse costs related to licensing, inspections and compliance, identifying savings opportunities.
• Supervise the accounts‑receivable team, implement controls to prevent errors and fraud, and provide strategic insights to improve cash flow.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in accounts‑receivable and cash‑flow management.
• Proven ability to supervise a finance team and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting, cost control and performance reporting.
