Commissioned Financial Advisor

About the role

The Commissioned Financial Advisor will provide expert advice on a defined range of financial products to an allocated market segment. Working independently, the advisor is responsible for achieving sales results while delivering high‑quality service to both existing and prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, process cases, resolve complex queries and support client retention.
• Analyse customer problems and propose technical or professional solutions.
• Welcome visitors, respond to information requests and refer complex matters to specialists.
• Record all interactions in the CRM system, schedule follow‑ups and maintain accurate data for retention and business development.
• Prepare and tailor sales presentations, ask probing questions to clarify customer needs and gauge interest.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans to build contacts with decision‑makers and influencers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory codes and obtain supervisory approval for any procedural exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for the assigned geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the organisation at sector events, gather market intelligence and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools to identify trends.
• Participate in internal and external networks to share ideas and best practices.
