Enterprise Banker

About the role

The Enterprise Banker will deliver Standard Bank Group's Enterprise Direct value proposition by managing a portfolio of clients through digital and branch channels. You will provide service and transactional solutions while driving profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and open new business accounts, cross‑sell products and refer sales leads to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct financial needs analyses for new and existing clients to identify appropriate product opportunities.
• Grow the Enterprise Direct client base, balance sheet and income in line with strategic objectives.
• Identify alternative solutions that meet client demand while adhering to profitability, risk and compliance requirements.
• Proactively promote a range of banking offerings, including outbound calls to reactivate dormant accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce.
• 3‑4 years of sales and relationship‑management experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record in sales, service and profitability generation.
• Behavioural competencies: articulating information, following procedures, interacting with people, meeting timescales, producing output.
