OE Intern

About the role

The OE Intern will support a range of professional services tasks, rotating through different areas under supervision. This role offers the opportunity to develop the skills and capabilities needed to progress into a permanent position within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose client issues by collating and analysing information gathered from interviews and research.
• Provide quality customer service, process cases, handle complex queries and resolve problems.
• Participate in a community of practice to build expertise in a defined consulting area.
• Deliver advanced product and service information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Extract relevant data, input it into spreadsheets or standard formats and perform basic analysis.
• Collect and create knowledge assets such as best practices and case studies.
• Develop personal capabilities through training, coaching and assessment activities.
• Analyse routine functional inquiries and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory codes and conduct standards.
• Support improvement initiatives and simple change‑management tasks.

Required profile

• Education at NQF Level 7 – degree, advanced diploma or postgraduate certificate (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Strong customer focus and accountability.
• Capability to manage complexity and optimise work processes.
• Organisational savvy with the ability to plan and align activities.
