Calibration Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to perform calibration, service and refurbishment of a wide range of industrial valves and actuators at both on‑shore and off‑shore sites. The role involves direct client interaction, certification activities and support for the calibration laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate, service and refurbish valves such as gate, globe, control, ball, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, pressure safety/relief and diaphragm valves.
• Perform certifications in line with ISO 17025, API and ASME standards.
• Conduct dimensional, pressure, torque and mass calibrations both internally and on‑site.
• Liaise daily with clients during certification activities on‑shore and off‑shore and report to the Technical Manager.
• Prepare and process calibration certificates following good laboratory practice.
• Book out and return equipment for offshore projects.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to assistant technicians.
• Assist in writing work instructions and support ISO 9001 laboratory accreditation efforts.

Required profile

• Proof of training in at least two calibration disciplines listed above.
• Minimum 1 year of experience calibrating industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in remote on‑shore and off‑shore environments.
