Asset Management Officer – Engineering (C4)

About the role

Namdeb Diamond Corporation is seeking an Asset Management Officer (C4) to support planning, scheduling and resource coordination for maintenance, installation and modification of equipment within its alluvial mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance, installation and modification activities for all equipment in designated areas.
• Facilitate work management processes in line with regulations and procedures to maximise equipment availability.
• Extract and analyse SAP CMMS reports to monitor sectional KPIs.
• Drive continuous system improvements and process efficiency.
• Lead and manage personnel involved in asset management activities.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English, or equivalent National Senior Certificate with Diesel Mechanic Trade Diploma.
• Valid B/BE manual driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of Namibian labour law.
• Computer literate in MS‑Office and MS Project.
• 3–5 years experience configuring SAP CMMS.
• 5–7 years experience planning preventive and corrective maintenance for mobile equipment.
• At least six years post‑apprenticeship experience as an artisan in the mining industry, with earth‑moving equipment knowledge.
• Preference for candidates holding an accredited NQF Level 7+ engineering qualification (BTech, BSc or BEng).
