Record to Report Lead

About the role

The Record to Report (RTR) Lead will oversee the end‑to‑end financial accounting and reporting process for the NBL Group. This senior finance professional ensures accurate monthly, interim and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, bi‑annual and annual financial reports.
• Own and coordinate group financial consolidations across all entities, ensuring completeness and consistency.
• Maintain relationships with the Namibia Stock Exchange, auditors, regulators and Heineken Global.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities and drive continuous improvement within the RTR function.
• Manage the group’s tax position, ensuring compliance and optimisation of tax outcomes.
• Support the Integrated Annual Report, covering financial and non‑financial performance.
• Develop and communicate accounting policies and technical guidance.
• Oversee intercompany reporting, reconciliation and resolution processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience; post‑articles experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in financial consolidations and IFRS‑based annual statements.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation, tax computations and returns.
• Experience handling intercompany accounting across multiple entities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
