About the role

Pointbreak Wealth Management is seeking a client‑focused Wealth Advisor to deliver personalised risk, investment and wealth planning advice. The role involves building trusted relationships, ensuring compliance with FIA & FIMA regulations, and applying the Pointbreak Advisory Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through proactive engagement.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and create tailored financial plans aligned with client goals and risk profiles.
• Provide advice across wealth creation, preservation, transfer, retirement planning, risk protection and investment management.
• Grow and retain a client portfolio via networking, lead generation, referrals and ongoing relationship management.
• Achieve asset growth and revenue targets while maintaining a client‑centric approach.
• Utilise approved planning tools, investment frameworks and advice methodologies to formulate recommendations.
• Ensure full compliance with legislative, regulatory, governance, audit and risk management requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records in line with FAIS and internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to maximise client value.
• Stay informed on market developments, investment trends and economic conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or equivalent tertiary qualification in Finance, Investments, Economics, Business or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of FIA and FIMA regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to build and retain client relationships.
