Premises Intern

About the role

Join Old Mutual as a Premises Intern and gain hands‑on experience across client issue diagnosis, customer service, data analysis and knowledge management. You will rotate through several professional‑services areas, building the skills needed for a future role within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse client information to diagnose underlying issues and design solutions.
• Provide quality customer service, process cases, handle complex queries and resolve problems.
• Participate in a community of practice to develop expertise in a defined consulting area.
• Supply advanced product and service information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Extract, clean and input data into spreadsheets or standard formats for analysis.
• Create and curate best‑practice content, case studies and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Support process improvement initiatives and simple change‑management tasks.
• Develop a working knowledge of organisational policies, regulatory codes and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 7 qualification (degree, advanced diploma or postgraduate certificate) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information from interviews and research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and personal capability building.
