Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Advisor to join its Oshakati team. The role focuses on building a client base, providing insurance and financial advice, and supporting the company’s growth in the Namibian market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, attract and retain clients by promoting the company’s financial and insurance products.
• Develop an individual client portfolio through networking, prospecting and referrals.
• Meet clients in person to deliver tailored insurance advice and after‑sales service.
• Maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing advice to existing clients to promote retention and increase market share.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• Degree in Marketing, Business Management or an equivalent field.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as a NAMFISA licence; COP qualification is an advantage.
• Recent police conduct certificate (not older than one year).
• Understanding of the Namibian insurance industry.
