Branch Consultant – Customer Service & Insurance

About the role

The Branch Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for customers in Oshakati, handling queries related to individual life insurance, investments and related products. The role focuses on delivering outstanding client service while ensuring policy administration tasks are completed within agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client enquiries on insurance and investment products promptly and within service level agreements.
• Promote the SanlamAllianz brand through high‑quality customer interactions.
• Administer workflow for policy issuance, amendments and renewals.
• Process claims and maintain accurate policy records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Required profile

• School leaving certificate.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a client‑service environment, preferably within the life insurance sector.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of a local Namibian language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
• Familiarity with legacy insurance systems and SanlamAllianz product platforms.
• Basic understanding of unit trust forms and personal portfolio products.
