Trainee Financial Advisor – Windhoek, Namibia

About the role

Momentum Metropoilitan Namibia is looking for motivated Trainee Financial Advisors to join its sales team in Windhoek. The role focuses on attracting, acquiring and retaining clients by offering tailored financial products and advice that support long‑term financial wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients, explain product features and benefits based on their financial wellness needs.
• Conduct affordability analyses and recommend products that align with clients' financial goals.
• Calculate and advise on tax and legal implications of product choices.
• Accurately capture client information, actions and sales in the company systems.
• Complete all administrative and reporting tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Meet production, quality and conversion targets while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in a financial advice role (essential) and 1‑3 years in the financial services industry (desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or an equivalent qualification.
• Certificate of proficiency in Insurance and relevant legislative/regulatory exams.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent registration.
• Strong communication, planning, influencing and interpersonal skills.
