Associate – Financial Due Diligence & Valuation

About the role

Join EY’s Transaction Advisory Services team in Windhoek, where you will support high‑profile transactions by delivering financial due diligence and valuation insights. You will work alongside experienced advisors, gaining exposure to complex deals and developing your expertise in transaction management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence procedures, analysing profit drivers, working capital, cash flow and balance‑sheet items of target companies.
• Identify deal risks, upside opportunities and issues that may affect purchase price, deal structuring or post‑acquisition integration.
• Prepare and evaluate pro‑forma financial information and assess seasonality impacts on cash‑flow requirements.
• Correlate due‑diligence findings with client valuations and recommend post‑acquisition action steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field; CA(Nam) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management and people‑management capabilities, with a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
