Financial Administrator

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan is looking for a skilled Financial Administrator to join its finance team in Windhoek. The role provides efficient and accurate financial and administrative support, handling transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with budgeting and reporting. It ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily and monthly financial transactions, ensuring timely reconciliations and reporting.
• Allocate cashbook entries, upload journals and support month‑end reporting.
• Review documentation for proper authorisation and resolve queries related to financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records, prepare bank reconciliations and control accounts.
• Contribute to audit processes, address audit queries and adhere to financial controls.
• Process creditor payments according to the payment schedule and support budgeting activities.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Diploma in Financial Management, Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in the financial services industry or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
