Trainee Financial Advisor – Insurance Sales

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is looking for motivated individuals to join as Trainee Financial Advisors. In this entry‑level position you will learn to market and sell the company’s accredited insurance policies, providing professional advice to both existing and prospective policy holders.

Key responsibilities

• Source, develop and grow an individual client base through networking, prospecting and referrals.
• Meet clients in person to assess needs and deliver tailored insurance advice.
• Manage and strengthen internal and external relationships to support business growth.
• Provide ongoing advice to existing clients to promote retention and cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• A degree in Marketing, Business Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant industry certifications such as a NAMFISA licence (COP qualification is an advantage).
• Understanding of the Namibian insurance industry.
• Problem‑identification and resolution skills, innovative thinking and the ability to work independently.
• Strong networking ability and entrepreneurial drive.
