Senior Forensic Specialist

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Senior Forensic Specialist to independently plan, execute and report on forensic investigations at an operational level. The role involves managing investigations that may span up to three months and delivering actionable recommendations to mitigate fraud and control breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise, plan and conduct forensic and fraud investigations with minimal supervision.
• Identify key findings, risk exposures and recommend practical, proactive measures.
• Maintain complete evidentiary records in the electronic case management system.
• Draft detailed investigation reports and follow up on implementation of recommendations.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments and deliver ongoing fraud risk awareness training.
• Manage business relationships, provide regular feedback and support internal control maturity assessments.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Three‑year qualification or equivalent in forensic, fraud, policing, law, auditing or risk management.
• Minimum three years relevant experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong investigative, analytical and reporting skills with excellent English communication.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and act as a self‑starter.
