Senior Fixed Income Dealer

About the role

The Senior Fixed Income Dealer will act as a bridge between the bank's trading desk and institutional clients, managing bond and treasury bill exposure while driving revenue and market share. The role focuses on delivering profitable trading outcomes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing desk efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the bank's bond and treasury bill exposure within approved limits and optimise returns.
• Generate revenue from sales‑trading activities to meet P&L targets.
• Grow fixed‑income market share through client acquisition and execution of trading opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and the ACI Code of Conduct.
• Report operational issues that could affect profit, loss or reputation.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, counterparties and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and resource optimisation.
• Provide timely market activity reports and support business strategy implementation.
• Track performance, client interactions in CRM and contribute to FX sales strategy development.

Required profile

• Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Business Management Bachelor’s degree (preferred RPE qualification).
• ACI certification.
• 5‑10 years of experience in FX sales or related Global Markets roles with exposure to interest rates, derivatives and commodities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
