Salaried Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking motivated Financial Advisors to deliver high‑quality service to customers across Namibia. You will identify new business opportunities, support client retention, and act as a trusted point of contact for complex financial queries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while spotting opportunities for new business and retention.
• Process cases, handle complex queries and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Analyse problems to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and schedule follow‑up actions.
• Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations to decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for key accounts.
• Monitor sales and market data to identify growth areas.
• Represent Old Mutual at industry events and gather market intelligence.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with at least 23 points, including commercial or business subjects.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional image.
• Strong planning, organising and time‑management abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using a CRM system.
