Relationship Manager - Mid Corporate and High Touch

About the role

FirstRand Namibia is hiring a Relationship Manager (Mid Corporate and High Touch) in Walvis Bay. The role manages and grows a defined portfolio of clients by executing relationship management strategies, delivering client-centred solutions and driving revenue, asset and liability growth through effective portfolio management and operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Grow a client portfolio to meet revenue, client retention and portfolio performance targets
• Drive asset growth by identifying lending opportunities and supporting credit solutions
• Drive liability growth through client acquisition, retention and increased product use
• Turn relationship strategies into actionable client engagement and growth plans
• Identify and implement cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Build strong client relationships through regular engagement, service delivery and tailored solutions
• Monitor portfolio performance (revenue, balances, utilisation, client activity) and act on corrective measures
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Product and Operations teams
• Manage client onboarding, servicing and retention, and resolve escalated issues
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and risk frameworks
• Prepare portfolio performance reports and contribute to improving client engagement processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• 4-6 years' experience in banking, relationship management, sales or portfolio management
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
