Private Banker – Far North Region

About the role

FNB is seeking a Private Banker to manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients across the Far North region of Namibia. Based in Ongwediva, you will travel to multiple branches and communities to build long‑term relationships and deliver a premium banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with affluent and high‑value clients.
• Identify and act on opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain profitable clients.
• Strategically manage client portfolios to increase revenue, deepen product penetration, and position FNB as the primary banking partner.
• Analyse client financial needs and structure appropriate banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Apply credit, risk, and compliance principles while balancing commercial growth and customer experience.
• Assist clients with fiduciary requirements, including wills and estate reporting.
• Support securities and lending processes, ensuring sound governance and timely execution.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, business insights, and portfolio analysis for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce or Banking.
• 5–8 years of experience in Private Banking, Business Banking, Relationship Banking, Wealth Management or a similar financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, lending, credit, fiduciary services, investments, compliance and risk management.
