About the role
The Multi‑Skilled Consultant will work at Nedbank’s Grootfontein branch, delivering a unique client experience by handling enquiries, teller transactions and banking requests while supporting branch objectives and risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Process withdrawals, deposits, transfers and inter‑bank transactions.
- Book cash in and out for senior tellers and perform daily cash checks.
- Balance daily cash, cards and other secure stock holdings.
- Prepare and manage transactional documents for inter‑bank transfers.
- Respond to client account enquiries, including opening, closing, stop payments and file changes.
- Issue account statements, credit cards and bank cards, and encode card information.
- Identify sales leads and refer cross‑sell opportunities to the appropriate department.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (minimum 25 points) plus a diploma in business or banking‑related studies.
- At least six months of customer‑facing experience in a retail environment.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and a customer‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work on Saturdays and adhere to the bank’s code of conduct.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
