Multi‑Skilled Consultant – Grootfontein

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Consultant will work at Nedbank’s Grootfontein branch, delivering a unique client experience by handling enquiries, teller transactions and banking requests while supporting branch objectives and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Process withdrawals, deposits, transfers and inter‑bank transactions.
• Book cash in and out for senior tellers and perform daily cash checks.
• Balance daily cash, cards and other secure stock holdings.
• Prepare and manage transactional documents for inter‑bank transfers.
• Respond to client account enquiries, including opening, closing, stop payments and file changes.
• Issue account statements, credit cards and bank cards, and encode card information.
• Identify sales leads and refer cross‑sell opportunities to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (minimum 25 points) plus a diploma in business or banking‑related studies.
• At least six months of customer‑facing experience in a retail environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a customer‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and adhere to the bank’s code of conduct.
