Key Account Officer – Client & Learning Management

About the role

The Key Account Officer is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients while delivering learning interventions that enhance client and internal capabilities. The role blends strategic account management with capacity‑building to drive service excellence and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned key clients, ensuring retention, loyalty and high‑quality service delivery.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities and convey client feedback to internal teams.
• Design, plan and deliver training sessions, workshops and digital learning resources for clients and staff.
• Assess skill gaps, facilitate onboarding and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and product teams to align account strategies with learning initiatives and report on performance.

Required profile

• Grade 12 minimum; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education/Training, Human Resources or related field is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in key account management within the financial services industry.
• 3–5 years of experience in training facilitation, learning and development or capacity building.
• Knowledge of adult‑learning principles and instructional design is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with e‑learning platforms and digital training tools.
