Group Financial Manager – Namibia

About the role

The Group Financial Manager leads the integrated finance function for B2Gold’s Namibian operations, providing financial insight, governance and strategic partnership to support sustainable growth and protect organisational value.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee financial accounting, management accounting and treasury activities for all Namibian B2Gold entities.
• Develop, consolidate and implement annual budgets, forecasts, Life‑of‑Mine financial inputs and long‑term financial plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory, management and group reporting, including cash flow, cost performance and KPI analysis.
• Provide strategic oversight of treasury, liquidity and insurance portfolios, optimising working capital and safeguarding assets.
• Lead risk management, corporate governance (King IV, NamCode) and internal control frameworks.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and Chartered Accountant qualification (CA (Nam) or CA (SA)) or equivalent (NQF Level 8).
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in mining or a similar industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
• Registration with a recognised professional accounting body in good standing.
• Valid Code BE driver’s licence.
