Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is seeking Trainee Financial Advisors to attract, acquire and retain clients by selling financial products and providing after‑sales service. The role focuses on supporting clients' financial wellness and contributing to the company's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients, highlight product features, and conduct affordability analyses to meet financial goals.
• Provide tax and legal advice related to products, capture client information accurately, and meet administrative reporting deadlines.
• Achieve production, quality and conversion targets while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to a culture of exceptional client service.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in a financial advice role and 3 years in the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Certificates such as CFP, insurance proficiency, and relevant legislative/regulatory qualifications.
• Strong communication, planning, influencing and interpersonal skills.
