Financial Assistance (Creditor)

About the role

This position supports the finance function of an airline by handling creditor‑related tasks, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records related to flight operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices within policy timelines and prepare month‑end payments.
• Monitor load factor (average seat occupancy) and optimise fare class rates.
• Review DCS (Departure Control System) status for departed flights.
• Manage ad‑hoc submissions to Airlink, including special rates, aircraft/payload adjustments, and flight changes.
• Compile and submit the Air Transport Statistics report on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Schedule operational changes into calendar format for operations teams.
• Correctly process refunds, recording amount, passenger details, and form of payment.
• Maintain refund backlog and ensure accurate recording.
• Respond to client complaints received via email.

Required profile

• Experience in financial processing within an aviation or transport environment.
• Ability to handle invoice and refund workflows accurately.
• Familiarity with operational data such as load factor and fare class optimisation.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to policy timelines.
