Financial Advisor (Salaried) – Otjiwarongo

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Financial Advisor to join its team in Otjiwarongo. You will deliver high‑quality service to customers, identify new business opportunities, and support client retention while upholding the company’s professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and identify opportunities for new business or retention.
• Process cases, handle complex queries, and resolve customer problems efficiently.
• Analyze issues to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, respond to information requests, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Schedule follow‑up actions, record interactions in the CRM, and create call plans.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations, and gather relevant customer information.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for key accounts.
• Monitor sales and market data for the assigned geographic region.
• Represent Old Mutual at business events, gather market intelligence, and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with at least 21 points, including commercial or business subjects.
• Minimum three years’ experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional image.
• Strong planning, organising, and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, sales‑driven, and passionate about achieving targets.
• Excellent networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self‑starter, team player, and holder of a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
