Field Based Account Manager – LPG

About the role

The Field Based Account Manager – LPG will lead both packed and bulk LPG sales in a competitive market. You will manage a portfolio of bulk LPG customers, work closely with distributors, and drive market penetration through strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve financial and non‑financial LPG business targets.
• Develop and refine LPG business plans and strategies.
• Manage customer and distributor portfolios using defined tools.
• Propose and implement changes to the route‑to‑market structure.
• Improve cylinder management, reduce losses and manage credit according to policy.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts for S&OP and support regulatory engagement.
• Gather market intelligence and implement marketing propositions and promotions.
• Conduct technical training for distributors and customers, ensuring HSSE compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• More than 4 years of experience in sales & marketing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Experience in FMCG channel/distributor management, selling, negotiation and marketing strategy.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
