Customer Service Representative

About the role

Toradex, a global company focused on embedded computing and IoT, is looking for a Customer Service Representative in Windhoek. The role acts as a central interface for customers, ensuring smooth order processing and good customer experience in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process new orders based on customer purchase orders (POs)
• Create order confirmations and release shipments according to available stock
• Handle product returns and related credit notes
• Follow up on overdue and double payments
• Answer customer enquiries about prices, lead times and tracking numbers
• Handle customer phone calls in English and German
• Manage customer master data in the ERP system
• Support the procurement team with demand planning and the logistics team with inbound and outbound deliveries
• Manage internal stock transfers between warehouse locations to ensure product availability

Required profile

• Commercial degree or qualification or similar
• 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and/or logistics
• Excellent German and English skills (reading, writing, speaking, level C2 CEFR)
• Proactive, precise and service-oriented, with strong teamwork and communication skills
• High degree of independence and commitment

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ideal: experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Ability to find economic solutions to problems
