Solar Sales Representative

About the role

SIAAC Group is looking for a commercially focused Solar Sales Representative to join its Windhoek branch. The role focuses mainly on the residential solar market, driving sales of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries and integrated energy solutions. The ideal candidate has an established network in Namibia's residential solar sector, strong product knowledge and a proven ability to turn opportunities into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Drive residential solar sales across panels, inverters, batteries and complete energy systems.
• Develop, expand and actively manage an established residential customer base.
• Identify new business opportunities and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct site visits, prepare accurate quotations and present professional proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with residential solar installers and independent installation teams.
• Keep up to date on solar technologies, product pricing and competitor offerings.
• Manage leads, opportunities and customer engagement through the CRM system.
• Provide after-sales support to strengthen retention and coordinate with technical, logistics and installation teams for order fulfilment.
• Provide weekly sales reports, pipeline updates and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' proven experience in solar sales preferred.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters and battery storage technologies.
• Valid Namibian driver's licence and reliable own transport.
• Fluent in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
• Advantageous: established relationships with installers, direct experience selling residential solar and energy storage, track record of meeting sales targets, basic technical or electrical knowledge of solar installations.
