Commissioned Financial Advisor – Commission-Based Role

About the role

As a Commissioned Financial Advisor you will help individual, corporate and institutional clients achieve their financial objectives by delivering tailored advice and Old Mutual solutions. The role is commission‑driven and focuses on building and maintaining high‑net‑worth relationships within Namibia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and product recommendations in line with Old Mutual’s value proposition and compliance framework.
• Develop, track and review a personal business plan to meet performance targets.
• Prospect and acquire new clients within allocated markets while retaining existing business.
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships and product holdings across Old Mutual solutions.
• Enter follow‑up actions and client data into the CRM system to support retention and business development.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, resolve complex queries and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with at least 23 points in commerce.
• Minimum three years’ experience in business management, insurance or financial services.
• ORA degree (NQF Level 7) in business or commercial fields.
• Namibian citizenship.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Ability to leverage existing high‑net‑worth networks.
• Above‑average numerical ability and professional presentation.
• Computer literacy and willingness to work on a commission basis.
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last three months.
