Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

Reload Logistics is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The role will support core accounting functions, ensuring accurate month‑end close, reconciliations and compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Process month‑end close and report to head office.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Prepare monthly management packs for finance manager review.
• Support finance manager with financial reporting.
• Handle petty cash and load bank payments.
• Assist with cash‑flow planning and working‑capital monitoring.
• Execute inter‑company reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Provide guidance to team members on accounting principles and IFRS reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors and support annual audit processes.
• Undertake ad‑hoc tasks related to the finance department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Experience in the logistics industry is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting and reporting principles.
• Proficient in MS365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong analytical skills to identify financial trends.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.
