About the role
The Portfolio Manager (OMAO) will translate investment research into actionable portfolio decisions and lead a team of analysts. You will be responsible for overseeing portfolio performance, risk management, and ensuring alignment with the firm’s investment strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop investment views and asset‑allocation strategies across relevant asset classes.
- Make and monitor buy and sell decisions, assessing portfolio performance, risks and market developments.
- Supervise investment staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Coordinate legal, governance and stakeholder requirements related to portfolio activities.
Required profile
- Namibian citizenship.
- NQF Level 8 qualification in finance, accounting, economics or statistics, with CFA or CA accreditation.
- Five to eight years of investment‑management experience, including at least five years as a portfolio manager at a supervisory or management level.
