About the role
Methealth Namibia Administrators is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support to its business units in Windhoek. The role will partner with line managers to align people initiatives with the organisation’s objectives and ensure compliance with Namibian labour legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with department heads and staff.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates.
- Manage employee onboarding, transfers, promotions and exits in accordance with policy.
- Oversee performance management, providing training on tools and processes.
- Advise on succession planning for critical roles and support retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the Labour Act, Affirmative Action Act and internal HR policies.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance matters promptly.
- Prepare monthly and statutory HR reports.
Required profile
- Minimum degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or Organisational Development.
- At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and people development.
- Two years of experience using Sage Payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Namibian labour legislation.
- Positive attitude, influential and collaborative mindset.
