About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support to designated business units. The role will collaborate with managers and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive human capital services that drive the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with department leaders and colleagues.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates.
- Manage employee exits in accordance with established procedures.
- Oversee employee movements across career levels and support succession planning for critical roles.
- Administer performance management system, provide training and guidance to line managers.
- Develop and implement retention and development strategies.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and handle disciplinary and grievance matters promptly.
- Prepare monthly and statutory HR reports.
Required profile
- Minimum degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or Organisational Development.
- At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee engagement, performance management and people development.
- Two years of experience using Sage Payroll.
- Good understanding of labour legislation.
- Positive attitude, ability to influence and a warm temperament.
