About the role

As a Commissioned Financial Advisor at Old Mutual, you will provide tailored financial product advice to an allocated market segment. You will be individually accountable for meeting sales targets while delivering high‑quality service to both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, processing cases, handling complex queries and resolving issues.
• Analyse customer needs, present solutions, and clarify product information during sales calls and meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, schedule follow‑ups and create call plans.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for prospective accounts, building networks with decision‑makers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory codes, seeking supervisor approval for any procedural exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for a defined geographic region to identify business development opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at industry events, gather market intelligence and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools to identify trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial advisory, sales or business development.
• Strong customer‑orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.

Required skills
