Combined Operations Supervisor

About the role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Combined Operations Supervisor to lead facilities, real estate and fleet management for its Namibia business unit. Based in Walvis Bay, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Weatherford's real estate portfolio, including offices, workshops, warehouses and residential properties.
• Oversee facility maintenance, security, utilities and ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
• Negotiate and administer lease agreements, service contracts and coordinate with landlords and authorities.
• Lead fleet management activities, including preventive maintenance, vehicle acquisition, registration, insurance and disposal.
• Monitor fleet utilization, optimize vehicle allocation and implement driver safety programs.
• Analyze operational data to drive cost reductions and improve efficiency.
• Investigate and report vehicle incidents and ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations management.
• Proven background in real estate operations and fleet management.
• Strong understanding of HSE principles in industrial settings.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Namibian labour, immigration and transportation regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using ERP systems.
